Nice! I wish mogul base PSMH/CMH lamps in 50-150W were more common. They're virtually impossible to find and expensive when they are found.

Also, I wonder why this lamp has a getter? I thought only HPS lamps needed them? Or do all ceramic arc tube lamps need a getter?

Nice lamp!

Yeah same here, I have to use a mogul to medium adapter and a medium socket extension to properly centre 70w CMH lamps in my R47. The adjustable socket is designed for a ED 23.5 to be the smallest lamp.

I did managed to find a couple of 150w CMH lamps with mogul bases though, I have a electronic 150w CMH ballast so I might use that if I find a ballastless fixture.

Hmm, I've noticed some of mine have a little pellet getter instead of the silvery coating on the glass.

What does a pellet getter look like? I wonder if mine have the same thing?

It looks like a little metal flag with a circular pellet that's spot welded to the frame. You can see it in this pic. It's mounted on the frame near the top of the arc tube.

Oh yeah I've seen those.
