Well of course it's not an awesome fixture in comparison to the one's you two Have! Shocked

but for my First HID Fixture....awesome indeed. Razz
joe_347V   [Dec 04, 2011 at 11:42 PM]
Of course, my first HID fixture was one of these bucket specials too. Razz
GullWhiz   [Dec 04, 2011 at 11:50 PM]
It was also my first HID fixture too believe it or not!
streetlight98   [Dec 04, 2011 at 11:54 PM]
A yardblaster was my first functional HID light, but my OV25 was the first light in my collection.
gailgrove   [Dec 04, 2011 at 11:55 PM]
My first HID lights was my FCO 125, I still don't have any sort of blaster!
streetlight98   [Dec 04, 2011 at 11:56 PM]
You'll have a rough version of a blaster soon. Razz
LilCinnamon   [Dec 04, 2011 at 11:57 PM]
My first HID fixture was an M-400 R2. xD Which is DIFFERENT than most people. xD

But I lit the yardblaster first. Then later I lit the M-400 R2. And now I have what... 19 cobraheads. xD And a NEMA head. And an HPS yardblaster.

Who ELSE had a cobrahead as their first HID fixture?

.. Other than Niall.
streetlight98   [Dec 05, 2011 at 12:17 AM]
Eh. i just said I did a few comments ago. Wink
Antstar85   [Dec 05, 2011 at 12:35 AM]
My very first HID fixture was a AE 113 when I was 7. I ended up breaking it because I tinkered with it way to much.

streetlight98   [Dec 07, 2011 at 01:07 AM]

Same here, my first HID light was a (dead) 175w GE multivapor metal halide lamp, then a bunch of 400w and 1000w metal halides along with a couple 1000w HPS lamps, (which I STILL haven't gotten around to testing (the halides must be base up and are dirty with fingerprints on them, don't want an explosion and UV LOL. Can I run a 1000w MH on a 1000w HPS ballast?
But an Electripak 175w mercury vapor yardblaster from the 80s (long story behind it) was what I will consider my first HID light (because it is actually practical to use indoors), and I fire it up regularly.
