I have seen similar LEDs failure around my area.

I've seen some LEDs here with only half of them still lit.

Me too, The older GELcores that are still being made have that problem.

Here where I live we are still using Traffic Lights with 12v 50w Halogen Lamps, I only have one set due to the huge size see HERE I also have a Pedestrian Crossing Lights too see HERE these look like LED bit are to Halogen they use 12v 50w Halogen Lamps.

These have been replaced over the weekend with new lamp units.
