Sylvania H38-4HT
Here's a nice Sylvania H38-4HT merc lamp that came in recently. I got from a place called ALC Audio for a pretty good price.

It came with the original sleeve but it's in pretty bad shape. It looks exactly like my other Sylvania's sleeve though. Interestingly the etch and base on this one is in better condition than my other Sylvania.

Thanks to Vince for finding a lead on this.

Nice find! I have a couple just like this. I see the led bulb is that a philips 10.5w non-dimmable?

Thanks Dave! and yeah that's a Philips 10.5w non dimmable in the back. Surprisingly bright for 10.5w too.

'67 and not girder-framed? Interesting, did 100Ws get it later?

SWEET! I like it!
Have you tried firing it up yet or are you keeping it NOS?

I have those philips led lamps in the house and are quite pleased with them. Very close to Incandescent feel. Also nice find on the clear merc. I'm trying to find a few for my merc fixtures.

Thanks Tony and Andy, right now both are still NOS but I might try firing up one of them up.

Those Philips LEDs are pretty good, if they were cheaper I might grab some more too.

As for the clear merc, I've seen the BT-25 versions show up from time to time on eBay.

Found another 125w merc at Restore recently too. Seems to be a pretty recent one though.

Does it work? Got a ballast for it?
