LPS Catenary Lighting
Quebec's Autoroute 40 near Montreal is the only place I know of that uses this unique style of streetlighting. I was told that the lumes used are Philips but I'm not sure of the wattage.

The pic I have isn't that good but it's the only one I have of the setup and this was taken way back in July '05 on a cheap digital camera so bear with me.

How Frightening Shocked

Could be a Canadian version of the Philips MO62, we can rule out the Phosco P415 as they look too narrow and smaller see HERE for details

All the Best

@ Jace; How so?

Yeah Jace? This is a very interesting set up, I know of some span wire LED fixtures.

Wonder what the Gull is frightened of Razz
Form109   [Jul 24, 2011 at 03:07 PM]
he's frightened because he if he tries to land on it the fixture will flip upside down due to his weight, because he's so used to landing on stuff the idea of not being able to stay there to turd on it paralyzes his wings and he falls into a ditch below. Very Happy

Seems like the MTQ replaced them with highmast sometime between 2012 and 2016. Kinda a bummer since these were the only known catenary lighting installation in North America.
