Forgive me here...but not sure I've heard of these. They seem to resemble older M400A's.
gailgrove   [Oct 11, 2010 at 02:00 PM]
Yes they do, however these where manufactured by a Canadian company Powerlite Devices, there the same size as M400As and have the option of having a power door (they all have two doors but some have top mounted ballasts) Powerlite also manufactured several other cobra heads that you will see in this album and one of mine.

Yeah Don...those are MOSTLY found in Canada....like the OV-14Bs....but someone found some of those Powerlites in Alabama!

And yer forgiven Don!!! Oh Don...The GE powerdoors tend to have more angled lines between the 2 doors instead of a straight line between the doors! If you look carefully..those powerlites has a kinda curled door latch while the GEs have a straight bar.... Wink

Yeah, I remember seeing the name before. I think I've seen some other models posted a while back. Must have missed seeing these particular ones. LOL

I guess on the bright side if the ballast goes in one of these they have to replace the ballast since theres no way you could even get the lights off the arm. Razz

The dim looking Powerlite got opened up around a month ago but they've closed it back up, I wonder if they relamped it while up there.

Let us know!

Hopefully, I'm guessing it has a capacitor problem though Neutral
