Here's a comparison between the current "Toronto Gumball" and a original gumball. The Toronto Gumball is the MH one on the left and the original gumball is the remote ballasted one on the right.
You found they where Coopers, they are made exactly like the old ones unlike repos which are not built the same. Is a new NEMA head a repo? Exactly, no it isn't. Both of these lights are NEMAs.
It's a NEMA, but the optics are a repro. Cooper unfourtunatly discontinued this in 2008. That's why i asked who made these because aren't these still installed there?
I contacted Cooper earlier on the year and I got the response "We are sorry. Our "gumball" light has been discontinued since 2008 with no current replacment." These must be specially made for Torronto.
I did. They said "The OV15 and OV25 are still produced today. For further information, please contact our Customer First Center in Peachtree, Georgia." I never called the Customer Service place though.
By the way the head looks like a Josyln to me...I could be wrong...
