Holophane LEDgend
Located in Holyoke, MA. This fixture is on a short dead end street along with another fixture like this. I'm not sure the wattage of these lights but they did replace 100 watt HPS M-250A's. The virus has begun here in Holyoke.

These actually don't look that bad from the ground. Smile Hope they are bright and distribute the light well.

This fixture actually looks close to a 100 watt light and the spread is nice but I doubt they will ever match 25O watts. Hopefully they just keep these to the side streets

Yeah that's really where LEDs belong. They aren't strong enough for the main roads.
Antstar85   [Sep 13, 2011 at 01:11 AM]
Well by the way things are looking here, the main roads are getting them too. There's a couple sat-96s from LRL by the high school here in the city.

reminds me of a glassless clamshell.

I have to say these lights don't look horrible. They defentley look better than Most manufactures out there.
GullWhiz   [Sep 13, 2011 at 06:28 PM]
At first looking at thumbnail....it looked like an OV-20! So this is cool

I found more of these lights up on another street a few roads down from me. They also have LED OVHs up to.

I think someone on here said they looked a bit like a crab. Laughing

But they do look better than a lot of LED lights out there though.
mercuryvaporrocks   [Sep 14, 2011 at 04:57 PM]
They're better than those melted down sandwiches they have in Pittsburgh.
GullWhiz   [Sep 14, 2011 at 05:24 PM]
I saw some being tested.....

I haven't seen any of these used here, the only LED lumes I've seen used here are the Lumec and Beta ones.
gailgrove   [Sep 14, 2011 at 09:43 PM]
I was the one that said it looks like a crab! It was more than a year ago, and I know I posted a picture but I can't find it, I may of deleted it. But you can't argue that this doesn't look like this Laughing
streetlight98   [Sep 14, 2011 at 09:50 PM]
It does! I was thinking a red crab like MR. Krabs. Laughing
Antstar85   [Sep 14, 2011 at 09:59 PM]
I have now also located some BETA LED fixtures on another street, those lights are just plain hideous. seems like they are testing out a bunch of the manufactures.
Form109   [Sep 14, 2011 at 10:32 PM]
i was thinking Mr.Crabs too. Laughing
gailgrove   [Sep 14, 2011 at 10:46 PM]

Form109   [Sep 14, 2011 at 10:49 PM]

TiCoune66   [Sep 14, 2011 at 11:18 PM]
