Fell Right Out Of The Sky!
Well okay it blew off an OVZ which I found rather surprising, I've never seen a PC blow out of the socket before, not to mention it landed 30ft away in tacked on someone's lawn. It is a FPOLC pc from 2010.

Do you mean "Fell Right Out of the Sky"?
gailgrove   [Jun 03, 2011 at 08:48 PM]
Yes Laughing
DimBulb   [Jun 04, 2011 at 02:03 AM]
Hmm, sounds like you're using your psychic powers to levitate PCs now!!!! Laughing
joe_347V   [Jun 04, 2011 at 02:04 AM]
Try levitating cobraheads now Laughing
gailgrove   [Jun 04, 2011 at 02:16 AM]
Yeah, I would like that Laughing
streetlight98   [Jun 04, 2011 at 05:45 PM]
That would be awsome. You'd need to levate a pair of wire cutters to cut the leads to the lume first. Laughing I saw an OVZ here all taped up with out the photocell last night, but it was dark and obviously the light wasn't on so I couldn't see the photocell anywhere.
joe_347V   [Jun 05, 2011 at 04:26 AM]
Why go to the trouble of wire cutters, just levitate the pole out...there's breakaway connections in the base. Shocked Laughing
streetlight98   [Jun 05, 2011 at 01:52 PM]
That's true you guys have metal poles. We have utility poles, so that would be a bit odd if that happened. Laughing
gailgrove   [Jun 05, 2011 at 09:26 PM]
We actually rarely have metal poles, most are concrete, we probably have more lights on utility poles here than on metal ones.
streetlight98   [Jun 05, 2011 at 10:22 PM]
We have overhead transmition, so you would blow out the block if you pulled out the pole. Laughing
gailgrove   [Jun 05, 2011 at 10:26 PM]
Yeah, here all of the main roads have overhead transmission lines but the smaller roads and most neighbourhoods all have underground. I still wonder how exactly this happened, I can't figure out how the wind could most twist it out and then blow it out Confused
streetlight98   [Jun 05, 2011 at 10:41 PM]
The line man most likely didn't twist it in, he probably just pushed it in without turning it. If it's not locked in, it will eventually blow out.
gailgrove   [Jun 05, 2011 at 11:06 PM]
Yeah I guess so, these lights weren't actually installed by line men but by a lighting contractor.

Maybe the PC socket was broken, the one on my R47 was broken and they still put a PC in.
gailgrove   [Jun 06, 2011 at 01:56 AM]
Hopefully not since the OVZ is only a year old, but then again Rolling Eyes
The socket in my R37 is broken too, I hope to repair it with the one from the top of the Twaist-Pak I found.
joe_347V   [Jun 06, 2011 at 01:57 AM]
I was considering buying a new one but since I bypassed the PC I just left it in.
gailgrove   [Jun 08, 2011 at 07:07 PM]
Update: The OVZ that this fell out of now has a new PC.
streetlight98   [Jun 08, 2011 at 08:51 PM]
Is this a FP Sun-Tech? I have one from August 2010.
gailgrove   [Jun 08, 2011 at 09:20 PM]
I'm not sure ... it's too hot to think today, it's 43 degrees Celsius (109 Fahrenheit) with humidity Shocked
streetlight98   [Jun 08, 2011 at 10:33 PM]
109!!! What's it without the humidity? It hit 93 degrees (F) here today. the average tomorrow is suposed to get up to 99 degrees (F). Don't you have air conditioning in your house?
