I actually don't hate insects.....but....if they are dangerous to local humans....then I would have to kill them or get them to run away with water...depending on the issue........but if insect is harmless.....I leave them alone...oh guys reminder....NEVER KILL A PRAYING MANTIS! Without them we will have EVEN MORE mosquitos and other bad bugs around....those praying mantis and daddy long legs actually are friends with humans, they help us eat bad bugs...plus its actually illegal to kill praying mantis in the USA!

Yikes! I hate wasps, but I suspect this is alot more common then it seems (not so much in new cobras but older ones for sure. My OV-15 had a live wasp nest when I brought it in my house (guess how quickly that went back out side Shocked ) and my OV-25, 2 of my M250R2s, my model 13, my R37, one of my R47s, my R7 and my TwistPak all had dead nests in them Confused

Try to top this.....two dead squirrels in a GE M-250R1
rlshieldjr   [Aug 26, 2010 at 07:21 PM]
I had wasps nesting on traffic signal visors, and occasionally on the lens of both LED and incandescent, usually the yellow due to short burn time.
gailgrove   [Aug 26, 2010 at 08:26 PM]
Well I did find a dead BIRD in Josephs B2255 Surprised
gmercury2000   [Aug 27, 2010 at 11:35 AM]
I've found live birds, dead birds, frogs, snakes and several other types of wildlife inside fixtures! Also jace was correct, not one wasp was hurt in the photo shoot! Laughing
gailgrove   [Aug 27, 2010 at 12:00 PM]

gmercury2000   [Aug 27, 2010 at 03:10 PM]

gailgrove   [Aug 27, 2010 at 03:15 PM]

GullWhiz   [Aug 27, 2010 at 03:34 PM]

mercuryvaporrocks   [Aug 27, 2010 at 06:44 PM]
My Westinghouse OV-15 streetlight that I got from Duquesne Light had a few live bees in it.
joe_347V   [Aug 28, 2010 at 05:44 AM]
@Niall Thanks for taking out the bird for me, that must have been quite a surprise to see a dead bird inside Shocked

As for me, haven't found anything shocking inside my lights before aside from dead bugs and leaked ballast tar.
gailgrove   [Aug 28, 2010 at 02:09 PM]
Luckily the bird was dried and cooked so it didn't smell and it was one of those really tiny ones, I would be really shocked if I found A FRIED GULL Laughing
Form109   [Aug 28, 2010 at 03:42 PM]

RCM   [Aug 29, 2010 at 12:08 AM]
