Hey Xmaslightguy, here's a photo of that fixture I was talking about. I've since cleaned it up a bit and put in different lamps (I wanted daylight and wanted to preserve the Sylvania/GTE F40/Design 50 it came with, and didn't like the F15T12 Kitchen & Bath's color). At least one starter is a really old Sylvania with the lightning-bolt-S logo.
Thanks! It helps my collection that I'm currently living within walking distance of the transfer station. What doesn't help is that I'm living in a 9X17 college dorm room shared with someone else, who thankfully tolerates my lighting junk).

I sure hope so. The Math105N is killing me but otherwise I seem to be doing OK. I'm also right at the cusp of not being low income anymore but not high income so my financial aid could get messed up. We'll (me, myself, and I) just take it one semester at a time.
What's Math 105N? I'm taking applied technical math now. Over the summer I had to take Elementary Algebra, which is basically high school math (algebra and geometry).
ah OK. Those numerical codes are college-specific, so anyone not at your college won't know what the heck you're talking about lol. My math is called 1750 at CCRI and Elementary Algebra is 0600 at CCRI.
Never heard of intensive intermediate algebra so IDK what the numbering is here. (I don't even know what the heck it is lol; algebra is algebra, no? lol)
Good luck, GEsoftwhite100watts. I'm hoping to take again on Ordinary Differential Equation (I failed from last Spring Semester). But, ah, I'm not worried about the GPA. But, what matters me the most is what I try to understand the process of solving these equation. If I don't understand the content of the class material, I just take another of the same class again
That's my theory. Never mind my GPA (Well, of course I want it to be high) but worst comes to worst if I fail epically and don't get financial aid I'll just stay home and do one or two classes each semester.

Speaking of math courses, I had to take a few of them too. Had to do Calculus I-III (differentials, integrals, differential eqs), Linear Algebra, and Statistics. What program are you in Andy? if you don't mind me asking.
Hey Joe, I'm still undeclared but will probably go electrical engineer, electrician, or an English major. All of which still require more math than I currently have. I need to photograph the starters. Came with a Sylvania/GTE Design 50 for the 4' lamp, but the fixture could be older than that!
I seriously doubt that dim D-50 crap is original... this most likely came with an 'Aquarium' or Gro-Lux standard lamps (not that a standard/narrow-spectrum gro-lux can in any way be considered bright either, they're mainly used because they bring out the colors of fish ).
Only reason I wanted to see the boring other side is to compare it to other aquarium lights. LOL
