It's mounted with couple bolts by the looks of it. Must be a ITT brand.
Form109   [Jun 05, 2010 at 05:05 AM]
Yup...and it does look ITT'ish
gailgrove   [Aug 02, 2010 at 04:43 PM]
Do you maintain it?
Form109   [Aug 02, 2010 at 09:02 PM]
Nope...the Light is 137 Miles North of me. Laughing
streetlight98   [Oct 01, 2011 at 10:08 PM]
The arm looks threaded at the end too... Maybe it was a custom made arm.
Form109   [Oct 02, 2011 at 07:26 PM]
Not Threaded..
streetlight98   [Oct 02, 2011 at 07:27 PM]
Ahh. It's a differnt color thoguh...
joe_347V   [Oct 02, 2011 at 07:29 PM]
Looks like a homemade arm to me, I've never heard of a factory arm that mounts with two lag bolts through the pipe. Shocked
streetlight98   [Oct 02, 2011 at 07:32 PM]
Definetly homemade. It's better than using those stupid mounting flanges on the housing. Mad This actually looks pretty good.....
joe_347V   [Oct 02, 2011 at 07:34 PM]
I used a pair of conduit straps to mount my homemade arm on the wall instead of drilling...I think it looks better than drilling through the pipe.

And I never really liked those mounting flanges...they should have just included a very short mounting arm in the box.
streetlight98   [Oct 02, 2011 at 07:36 PM]
Yeah. I don't like those mounting flanges either. Rolling Eyes Do the NEMA heads have the flanges too? I know the GE don't
joe_347V   [Oct 02, 2011 at 07:39 PM]
I believe they don't. Very Happy
Form109   [Oct 02, 2011 at 10:05 PM]
the mounting flanges don't phase me...though i tried to cut them off one of my blasters and cracked the slipfitter. Laughing

However Hubbell did make a rather strange yard fixture....12" Refractor with a Mounting Flange AND nema like latches for the refractor!
gailgrove   [Oct 02, 2011 at 11:28 PM]
No, actually NEMAs don't, just the fake ones.
streetlight98   [Oct 02, 2011 at 11:52 PM]
That's good. The only companies that still make real NEMA heads are AEL, GE and Howard Lighting. Neutral GE doesn't offer glass or MH though.
gailgrove   [Oct 02, 2011 at 11:55 PM]
Don't forget Cooper!
streetlight98   [Oct 02, 2011 at 11:56 PM]
Oh yes. i was thinking their's had the mounting flange, but only the Eternalume does......
joe_347V   [Oct 03, 2011 at 01:14 AM]
Does anyone still make a glass bucket assembly?
gailgrove   [Oct 03, 2011 at 01:16 AM]
AEL has it as an option. Very Happy
joe_347V   [Oct 03, 2011 at 01:18 AM]
Anyone ask for a quote on a MH NEMA with a glass bucket, must be quite expensive compared to the cheapo yardlights.
