RESTORE FIND: 1970s Sylvania F20T12

It's heavily used but works fine. I'm not about to put a lamp like this into regular use though. It still works like normal and probably doesn't have a lot of hours left on it so I want to keep it working condition. Only $0.25!

I was having a conversation with a guy plowing through a box of sockets and socket adapters (didn't even look at those, though maybe there are some rarebirds with that too...) He was finding parts to fix some flush mount globe lights. He actually pointed out the Philips lamp to me. He was going to buy it and resell it but he just gave it to me! There were some oldish looking reflector lamps too but i tend to leave loose incandescents alone since i can't garentee the filaments are any good. I had to get the T-shaped Philips 3-way lamp though.
The blackening might be mercury condensation, I had this happen with a Norelco F40CW once...but after a couple hours it burnt off...try leaving this on for a couple hours...
