I have seen similar setups in San Antonio Texas...with the flood style highmasts

i guess they used them cause its quite a large interchange.

There's some floodlight highmasts here too, used when the poles are all mounted on one side of the freeway, although I've seen then use regular highmasts instead.

Dallas is just about the worst city ive been too traffic wise....everybody drives rudely and the clogs are vicious. Rolling Eyes

Well, its said that Los Angeles has the second worst traffic in the WHOLE world, after Tokyo Japan! So any place in the USA, even New York City, would be more mellow than LA!

Pittsburgh is also a nightmare when it comes to traffic, motorists don't pay attention and talk on their cell phones and cut in front of other traffic. They even gridlock the intersections. The motorists around here are also extremely nasty too.

Who says I was gloating? My area is just as densely populated as the NYC and LA area (not quite as many people but still very dense) Just search Google for "world's busiest highway"and you will see everything points to highway 401 which is in my area Razz
