Crimefighter Threaded Tappings
I cold welded the old Crimefighter's threaded tappings into the top housing of the M-250R from Jace, this will allow the option of converting it into a Crimefighter. I was hoping to get an empty Crimefighter shell from a member on LG almost 2 years ago instead of doing this mod,he was going to get me a shipping quote but never did. :(

Ah nevermind my last comment then lol. I see. Did you just chop off the original threads with a sawzall or something? Did you repaint the fixture gray instead of silver? Neutral

Nice mod! Yeah it looks like Darren just cut off the threads from the Crimefighter housing and epoxyed it in here.

Seems like the empty Crimefighter shell went to this guy who converted it to CFL. Rolling Eyes

The fixture was only sold as the shell though, so the guy had to build a new reflector assembly for it it appears. I don't think there were any guts inside to begin with.

@ Mike: This fixture was void of any threaded openings on that part of the top housing, this made it easy to sand the paint in that spot and apply the cold-weld. Jace restored the fixture with the grey finish on the inside, but it has the silver finish on the outside.

@ Joe: Yes that's probably the guy who ended up getting it. Mad Sad I would have really liked to have the complete Crimefighter fixture instead of having the option to convert the M-250R.
