I received a pack of 6 awesome F14T12 cool white fluorescent lamps from Mike in his carefully designed 6 lamp Pipsqueak Pak smaller quantities lamp case,the lamps include, 2 ITT,3 Westinghouse,1 GE/Sylvania fluorescent lamps. I will keep the lamps safe in this custom pack. Thanks again Mike!!
Ahh I'm glad you like the packaging. BTW, those colored bars under the "Lighting for now, lighting forever" slogan are supposed to be the lamp color temps, warm white, white, cool white, 5000K, and daylight. For the lamp info at the bottom i offset the type writer font so that it looks like the ratings were hand-stamped. I guess I put the wrong lamp life. I just looked on 1000Bulbs.com t see what they rated their F14T12s for lol.
ahh thanks. Yeah I figured I'd have fun with my McCann Lighting stuff since I don't have any plans to make a real manufacturing company out of it. I would like to have a street light restoration service though and I'd use the McCann lighting name and sell the lights on ebay but I don't have a source for lights. I'd love to get acess to NGrid's dumpster since most of their lights just have bad igniters and some are even still working!
I'd love to be able to get all of their photocells too that they remove since more often than not, the PCs work fine but get the boot due to a relamp. I don't know anybody "on the inside" though that could give me acess.
What a relief it was when you said all the lamps arrived perfect too! i was so worried lol. Did you get a chance to test them all yet? I tested them all before i sent them and they worked on preheat and trigger start but if any filaments broke they's only work on TS.
Glad you like it! I had made the case during the 4th week of January 2014 per the date code at the bottom. instead of dating the lamps I dated the labels on the case (If i were to really sell McCann Lighting lamps the date would appear on both the case/sleeve and lamp(s).
@MIKE! As an industrial design grad, I have noticed much refinement in a short period of your design postings. I have much appreciation for all the details too!
Ahh thanks. Joe is getting a bunch of smaller ML boxes with the older blue logo this summer. And Darren will be getting the newer PSMH lamp boxes soon too.
