Electronic MH ballasted and coated CMH! Surely it can't get better then this! the lamp is even shielded, not to mention the cover is thick sealed glass! have yet to see any bugs make it into these fixtures, they are robust. the mounting bracket is convient but sucks because i used the other one to have less of an angle outwards originally and overtightened the top screw that holds in the fixture,a week later it fell off the wall..oops! so i lightened it up with the VS electronic MH ballast and put in the Coated protected Phillips CMH which looks better then the clear unprotected phllips QMH Keywords: Lit_Lighting

Stonco, not sure about the model, it does not really say anywhere, but they originally come with Advance ballast kits

Sweet! If the MV yardlight in my backyard goes, I'll put up a 70w coated CMH wallpack instead. Cool

Nice security light! Much better than anything you'll find at Home Depot. Your mention of the coated MH lamp reminded me of the Sylvania coated 100w MH I found at a thrift store years ago for $1....I actually didn't buy it because I didn't own a ballast for it at the time. I still wonder to this day if the person who ultimately bought it thought it was a halogen lamp, took it home and then thought it was defective because it didn't light up in an incandescent socket...
