He sure did an excellent job packing those bulbs! My personal favourite packaging material is definitely styrofoam. Cut into the proper shape, the stuff you pack has an excellent protection. The globe I sent you is a perfect example! Wink

Nice lot Very Happy Old American lighting equipment is pretty hard to find in my area too, but at least I can hunt for them across the border.

Glad everything showed up undamaged!
For shipping bulbs, I prefer bubble wrap for plenty of cushion. Styrofoam can be too stiff and cause filaments to break when packages are tossed around.

That's good to know, since I'll soon pack some fluorescents as a trade for those cool lamps!

The best would be the proper combination of styrofoam and bubble wrap. I have limited access to bubble wrap, and I largely prefer reusing packaging materials over buying brand new stuff. But I agree for the bubble wrap, it gives the filaments a better protection.
