... I mean, come on, isn't it OBVIOUS you did something wrong? XD

PS: Yeah I know, not the clearest picture I took. I used my camcorder to take it, doesn't take the best pics, but it's pretty compact, so I can bring it at school without anyone noticing LOL.

I don't know why but I've seen this at a few places before, occasionally with a crispy holder too.

On a unrelated note, I saw a store retrofit their F96T12/HO strips to 4' T8 by mounting the new striplights directly on top of the old F96 channels, I wonder if the old ballasts are still inside the channel and powered. Shocked Confused

It's kinda hard to tell on the picture, but the pin is actually broken and the insulator snapped in two!

I hope they cut the power on the old channels before LOL. Didn't they know that retrofit kits already exist for such conversion? Looks like they didn't.

Sizzle, drip (socket melting), drop, shatter (the lamp), law suit. Shocked Mad Rolling Eyes I've seen this before. Some people just don't have a clue. Confused
