Westinghouse OV-14B!
Oh sweet OV-14B, can your light be cast in my eyes, in the darkness of the night!

I still remember the night I lit this OV-14B (Yup, me!). It was around 10pm and I was bored. So while walking in the campground, I saw the OV-14B, but it wasn't lit. Then I saw the switch on the pole, then I flipped it and ... oohhh! It was a surprise to see a bluish, dim, flickering light appearing through the lens!

Cool eh? I hope it stays longer.....now note this, if it wasn't on for a long time...it means it may take LONGER to warm up so it may actually be brighter than what you saw if you left it on longer!

Nice. i've seen lights on utility poles that are activated by a switch. I saw a Admiral's hat at a campground i went to but it didn't come on. I followed the powerlines for about 100 yards and found the wire either snapped or was cut because it was on the ground. It broke right at a pole so the live half was still attached to the pole while the half leading to the admiral's hat was on the ground under plenty of dead leaves.
