A double-green??
Here's something extremely weird!

Doubling the red light is a common practice in Québec to make it more visible and emphasize the fact you have to stop. But never have I seen a double-green light! As a side note this is one of the only newer LED traffic lights to use the special shapes designed for colourblind people. There are already two red lights as well. With the yellow and one green a 4-light unit would be enough using that configuration, so I can't tell why they took a 5-light unit, or why they didn't use the remaining light to make a protected left turn sequence.

By the way as of this week, one of those green lights (the left one I think) is out.

Odd, I know like you said the double red (square on older lights) are quite common.
