Poor crimefighters, downed on the ground This is next to the RV place where the ellispe spaceship lights and remaining crimefighters are found. The two crimefighters are intact but the shoebox touching the ground has been smashed. Rick shields thinks the pole was downed by thieves to go after the copper. I'm surprised they didnt steal the fixtures because the ballasts and wires also contain copper. Rick tried to ask about the lights but the guy at the RV place is not responsible for the downed lights because it is on a separate lot. Keywords: American_Streetlights

Just go for them. That's what i did with my M-400A2s. It may not be the totally "right" thing to do but if you're saving a piece of history from being melted down into tin cans then i'd say you are doing the right thing... if you don't steal them to save them, someone else will steal them for scrap... just my 2 cents. And if you do go, go at night and park in front of the pole if possible as to block people's view of you from the street. bring wire cutters, a socket wrench set, and a flathead screwdriver. that's what i brought to get the M-400A2s. of course i would have loved to have saved crimefighters but M-400A2s are nice too lol.

When I wanted some light that wer down I contacted the city and they wer able to tell me the owners of the property and I able to retrieved them.

I hope you get them too! It looks like it must've been copper thieves since the pole's been unbolted. I'm glad there was a shoebox there, it saved the crimefighters!

Bad news, Crying or Very sad these are all gone, the lot is pretty much cleared, making way for freeway widening.
