Westinghouse Remote ballast OV-25s! Its hard to see the others but I see over 14 fixtures...

I would suggest you to give credit on where you found the pictures since it may be subject to copyright......

I was sent the picture in an email so I do not know where it came from, but if I find out I will give credit Wink and yes there a remote ballasted OV-25, I think the other ones might be B2255s but I'm not sure Laughing

Cool!....Remote Ballasted OV-25's are some of my Favorite Fixtures and among the least common in my area.

Thanks, but these lights are long gone however I know of an old rundown factory near me that is just being used as a warehouse that has tons of remote ballasted OV-25s as well as tons of other lights.

Yep, I poked around that place for about an hour two weeks ago, it is still in use but there was no security to be seen.

They are still mercury and all but one of them still works at night Very Happy

I wish i had the original remote ballast from Westinghouse, but it was bad, so it wouldn't work. Sad

I have a ballast from a floodlight that I use to start up my OV-25 Remote Ballast fixture.

I made my own ballast box, but i'm not sure if the ballast and cap get enough air. I want to put in vent holes, but then water would get in. Confused

It's the Greenwood Subway Yard and the remote OV 25s on the left building are still there in the 2009 pic.

a GREAT example of violating the SOPA law by taking a picture that belongs to someone else.

Don't want to lose this freedom and lose this page because this page has some things gotten from other pages?

One thing I wonder is since the copyright owner of this pic is presumably a Canadian, do their complaints have any weight since SOPA is a American law?

Hmmm....good question, although it is displayed in the world....so I wonder....That's why SOPA law is just plain stupid...and out of it!
