COOL! DAVID! Thanks for showing is this one! Now we have an idea what it looks like inside!

Well if you watch the installation video you also get a good idea of how it is built. Wink

Those pictures are obviously edits. At time frame 3:23, you can totally see that those are Phillips cobras, not LEDs. I don't know the modle # for the cobras thoguh.
gailgrove   [Oct 16, 2011 at 09:51 PM]
You mean Lumec cobras? They are made by Lumec not Philips, although Philips does own the company.
streetlight98   [Oct 16, 2011 at 09:53 PM]
Yes Lumecs. Embarrassed Phillips owns them, so they could be referred to as Phillips just as we refer Streetworks products as Cooper products. Neutral

Thanks, Jace. And as you can see, there's no ballast in there like conventional HID luminaires.

They do have LED Drivers in them though.
tpirman1982   [Oct 17, 2011 at 11:35 AM]
The LED drivers look like ballasts for fluorescent lights to me.
streetlight98   [Oct 17, 2011 at 08:06 PM]
Yep they do. i believe LEd drivers are electronic dispite the magnetic fluorescent look of the casing
joe_347V   [Oct 17, 2011 at 09:41 PM]
They look the most like electronic fluorescent ballasts to me.
