That was my first though as well, seems rather odd. I don't even see the need for these fire lights and fire pull boxes these days anyways.

We have some pull boxes around here, but no lights to indicate them. I kinda want one of these fire NEMAs they look pretty cool. BTW, this looks like it's dayburning becuase there's a shortign cap in there. Confused It's the same style shorting cap that RIDOT uses on the M-400s.

It kind of looks like there might be a GE Compax CFL or something similar in the fire NEMA.
