are pure junk! Powdercoating is gone, and the aluminum is corroding into white powder! Not to mention the top of one of them is cracked through in through... low-quality casting!

didnt think it was that big of a deal to use the word i did. it describes them perfectly. these are in the northeast sent to me by another collector. Don't know if they're close to a beach or not.Salt air doesnt help metal but the quality of a McCain has always been sub-par.
And as far as replacing the incandescent bulbs with LED and such...about time in my opinion!
i've noticed paint coming off of Mccains in my area....but not to this extreme yet.
we now use Eagle's...although eagle spot replacements showed up in prior years now they are the staple....the Durasig and Mark IV Models in the 12" Size is what we use.
Siemens Transportation Solutions is the new name formerly "Eagle Traffic Control Systems" and before that it was "Eagle Signal" Siemens totally dropped the Eagle name in around 2008
