Older CGE 12" Signal and OV-25
Older CGE 12" signal that now sports a Dialight LED red and green. The amber is still incandescent though. Until 2009 or so the signal used to be fully incandescent. The OV-25 was probably installed in the 90s to replace a old merc light.

Yeah it seems most of the CGE's kept a incandscent amber, i guess they don't care because the amber is lit for a very short period of time

Yeah a lot of the Toronto CGEs have incandescent amber lights in them, the Fortrans installed in the early 2000s are like that too.

theres an intersection near my house (Scituate Ave and Comstock Parkway, Cranston, RI if you want to find a streetview) and the reds and greens are LED but all but one or two of the yellows are incandescent. When one side goes yellow the reds on the other road flicker when the yellows just come on. I wonder if that sudden surge of energy to power the yellows drops the voltage going to the reds on the opposing road? it's sort of odd. My mom has almost ran the light before because when you staring at the red light as see it go out for a split second you might think the light is changing.

Odd and sounds dangerous Shocked Toronto has a lot of intersections with incandescent amber lights and I've never seen the LED reds flicker when the ambers come on for the other side.

Yeah i don't know why it does it. It's beyond me. I've tried video taping it on my camera but i don't think it picks up on the flash. I'll try again.

You know how the lights in your house dim for a split second when they central air A/C or heat comes on? that's what the reds do when the yellows on the opposite side come on.

Ahh, I know some older and cheaper cameras aren't as fast as newer ones so they don't really capture the brief flicker. And yeah the lights in my house do that when the AC comes on too, I find CFLs and incandescent lamps are more affected by this than linear fluorescent though.

My Eagle flatback flickers briefly when changing from say green to red/green overlap and then to red. In my case it's because the overlap relay briefly shuts off the power to both lamps when switching from one lamp lit to both lamps lit and vice versa.
