Dayburning B2213s
Looks like the B2213s at that lot have started dayburning for some reason. I suspect the relay is stuck or the PC got stuck. On a side note, the B2213s all have working lamps now. Unfortunately the B2255 at the back that had the clear merc is now out.

nice that they work but bummer on the out B2255. Let's hope it was just the lamp. Was it a recent lamp or was it an older lamp? Looks like one of those B2213s is really dimmed out.

I think they recently relamped the B2213s with new /DX lamps but I guess they somehow missed the B2255 in the back. The reason I say they got /DX mercs instead of MH is since the old buzzing ballasts are still there and the lamps sorta look like /DX mercs.

Update: the two B2255s in the back got relamped...with MH lamps. Razz It seems the B2213s also got MH lamps now too. The old buzzy ballasts are still there though.

Hope those lamps work right. They should though. At least they didn't change the fixtures, but I am sure that they might in the future.

Hmm so they kept the old ballasts but stuck in MH lamps? Yeah if the ballasts are reactors then that will work for a long time since reactors have that little but of inductive "kick" like preheat ballasts. Joe Maurath had said that the MH lamps NGrid used here on the 400W mercs lasted longer than they would on a MH ballast. I think he said one was installed in 2006-ish and was still going when the light was removed in 2011. Pretty good for a probe start MH lamp...
