I like that fixture. Somewhere among my 4 foot fluorescents, I have a Sylvania F48T12/D/HO from 1999 or 1998, made in Canada. I also have a GE F64T12/D/HO from '88. I can't wait to test them! Cool

Thanks Vince, this fixture is currently floating around right now, but maybe I'll mount it up later on. I got this fixture at a fraction of the regular price at Restore along with a 8 footer HO fixture. You have some pretty nice HO lamps in your collection hope you find a HO fixture for them.

I got mine at lowes for like $50 USD! plus sylvania lamps were$7 each LOL and then got a wire guard at home deopt for $10. mine is a cooper metalux, these are well built fixtures with the ballast vents and the screw-on plates to hold the end plates on, unlike a lot of newer fixtures that "snap together". They are not sold at stores anymore, lamps here are still stocked at ace(GE) and lowes(sylvania)
mine always instant started until they were broken in. They blacken quickly at the ends.

I got one of these Litnonia H.O. fixtures at Home Depot last weekend on clearance for $40.00.

I got this one at a Restore back in October-November for $7.50, I think this fixture was new or almost new when I first got it. I got the lamps on clearance at Home Depot for $3.50. I think the local Home Depot also had these on clearance but since I already have one I'm fine for now.

I have a two foot version of this.....AKA the F24T12!

Cool, I recently found a couple of Sylvania F24T12/D/HO lamps that I don't have a fixture for.

I know someone who has Lithiona industrials in their shop with these exact lamps!
Except they have the Shield logo and are from May 2003...
