40w Lumiline Bracket
Restore find. The back plate was missing though. Not sure who made the fixture or the lamp too as the only marking on the fixture was a CSA certified label stamped KENNY.

The extra lamp was the lamp that came with the fixture but it's EOL so I stuck in the spare lamp I also picked up at Restore. Not sure who made the lamps but I'll try shining a black light on it to see if there's a faded etch.

Thanks!

Both lamps turned out to be GE. Does anyone know how much these lamps last? I only have one that's working and I don't want to use up since NOS lumilines are pretty expensive. O_o Does GE still make them anymore, I last saw them on store shelves in 2009 selling for around 10 bucks a pop.

i don't know. they probably don't last any longer than standard incandescents. i've never seen them anywhere in person here before. do they just run on 120V?
A_lights   [Aug 12, 2013 at 10:41 PM]
my guess is they would last longer then a normal incandescent since the filament is less overloaded, the biggest killer for these is probably vibration, i once had a lady tell me that fluorescents had a long thin wire inside them that was fragile, i was thinking yeah right Rolling Eyes

@Mike, they run on 120v and there's not much to the fixture too, just two wires and a switch inside.

@Aaron, I heard the newer ones are a bit fragile since the filament isn't supported as well. Also is it just me or it is common for people to think fluorescents have a long filament inside. I heard someone else say the same thing before. Razz

when did a lady tell you that? lol I've never heard anyone say there's filaments inside lol.

Well, it was probably some one on the Internet Laughing but it seems some people think fluorescents have a filament inside.

I've even heard people refer to the common 4' T12 fluorescent as a "neon" light! Laughing Laughing Laughing
