Nice start. Peek stuff is well made. I have video detection equipment from Peek.

Nice signal, would you mind taking a picture of the back?
basilicon89   [Feb 25, 2011 at 09:07 PM]
Crouse Hinds Type R back. Same mold. Just with a different logo.

Nice signal, can't exactly tell from the pic but it looks like a aluminium signal.

Apparently the back on the Crouse Hinds Type Rs, TCTs, and the Peeks are identical to a Fortran poly signal back:
TCT Back.
Fortran poly back.

Fortran copied the Type R design for their 12 inch. McCain copied the 8 inch R design to their entire signal line. GTE copied Eagle's stuff.

And the older Fortrans are CGE traffic signals with the Fortran logo instead right? Since I believe Fortran bought CGEs signal division.
gailgrove   [Feb 26, 2011 at 12:43 PM]
I would believe that, I have seen CGE signals that look exactly like my Fortran 12"red signal.
basilicon89   [Feb 26, 2011 at 03:46 PM]
This is correct.

Yes, the back of this signal has the type R design too. In the futere, I'd like to repiant this yellow because the paint is starting to chip. Yes, this is an aluminum signal. If you stilll want, I'll have a picture of the back uploaded withen the weeked.

How is the wiring inside this anyways, since you're talking about rewiring it? Oh and by the way if you don't mind me asking where did you get this from?
streetlight98   [Feb 22, 2012 at 07:38 PM]
I'll take a pic of the wiring and post it soon. As for where I got it, my uncle saw a craigslist ad for them so we went out into Foster, RI (pretty much nothing out there except small shops and mile long driveways lol) and got one. They origionally came from a town that changed out their heads. i'm not sure what town though.
