HPS canopy? Usually walgreens uses GE MXR100/U/Med MH lamps (or MVR175/U on older stores)but due to some ordinance (I think) they went with HPS. everything is HPS in this area even gas station canopies! Someone did change some of the wall fixtures to 400W CMH/830s though. It looks way way better ! I will say GE HPS lamps last a lot longer then their MH lamps cause the 2 stores u went to had no HPS problems at all Keywords: Lit_Lighting

LOL really? HPS parking lot lighting never really bothered be but i'd prefer a white lamp source. when the ground is wet HPS looks really dim for some reason (have you ever noticed that? when it's rainey or the ground is wet, the HPS light doesn't light the road as well?)

From what I see HPS never lights anything as well. Unless its accent lighting

Some old gas stations had HPS canopy lights but they all disappeared when the stations got remodeled. Some strip malls here have HPS cans in the canopy though.

About 200 miles furthest, next week I'm going to sault st.marie (in upper peninsula)
