yeah! Wow lots of room! I thought these had vertical lamps... i know the ones with the round highbay reflectors have vertical lamps.

@Mike, I think I've seen some use vertical lamps too. They still used the square reflector though.

vertical makes lamps last longer, but the wires can get crispy after years

I would actually think this would be worse since the wires are exposed to the lamp's light which can contain some UVs which could degrade the wiring. Then again, in NEMA heads the lamp is vertical and the wires are exposed to the lamp's light and the wires in them never seem to crisp up. I guess if the fixture doesn't have good ventilation the wires can easily be cooked.
