yeah i don't get this. You're not saving any energy by making the place dimmer. You're just making it easier for peoplr to sue you if they get mugged in your parking lot and it was too dark to identify them or something. If anything, i would think people would want brighter areas.
IMO, if i were to upgrade from 400w MV to PSMH, I'd use 320W PSMH because you get LOTS more light AND save quite a bit of money. You can use 250W PSMH if you really need to save big bucks and don't need any more light or you can use 400W PSMH if your current electric bill isn't unbearable and you need a TON of extra light. But IMO 320W PSMH is the best to replace 400W MV. Replacing 1000W MV with 1000W PSMH is a little much so maybe replace 1000W Mv with 750W PSMH?
