Remaining public mercury lighting! - Dionne park
I used to go to this park during lunch time back in high school with my friends. Rather creepy sight eh?

There's 8 postop mercury fixtures in that park, only 2 are still working! The brightest of both probably has a clear lamp. The other has a very dimmed out /DX, maybe a Canadian model (CGE/Sylvania-Canada/Canadian Westinghouse).

AMAZING NEWS! As of today, the 6 non-working fixtures have been relamped with /DX lamps! Pics are coming soon.

are these just one lamp to a fixture? Were the other two group relamped as well or left? With NGrid when they do group relamping on the freeway they'll leave the working ones alone (which I actually like, less waste that way) but it always seems soon after they relamp the rest the ones that did work begin cycling lol. I've seen some fixtures that worked when they group relamped and they were still working after another group relamp! The full mercury HPS lamps really are workhorses! They're easy to spot because they're more redish/pinkish in color compared the newer dingy yellowish HPS eco lamps. Fantastic to hear these were all fixed and working! Very Happy

Cool that the ones the were out got relamped. The Twistpaks and variants use one lamp per fixture.

I think Toronto still has some merc Twistpaks in use too.
