Hmm. Interesting. That explains how LM was able to mount the PC receptacles right at the slipfitter. what is the wire clip under the fitter for? Can the slipfitter be adjusted so it can tilt up or down or is it strictly level?

Hmm, never seen a slipfitter like that before too. I could be wrong but it seems like it clamps down pretty tightly though.

The wire clip is where the end of the arm pipe stops...or else the lineman may jam the pipe to the ballast....and yes it's tillable.....just loosen the two outer bolts that connects to the body and pull forward or back (see the two rims under the slipfitter) you can see the rims aren't flat but a bit curved which allows the tilting.....after tilting is done, tighten the two bolts!

My unistyle has a different slipfitter. It has a U-bolt that you tighten from outside the top housing, similar to the M-400A/split door.

i think your unistyle is a McGraw-Edison version Tony. I noticed the PC is closer to the refractor on yours. Personally i prefer the PC position on the McGraw version since with the LM version the PC is so close to the edge it looks like it's going to fall off the edge lol.

Yep the newer ones have the U style and the McGraw Edison Unidor has 2 bolts from the top with a metal strip connected to the two bolts...similar to the U design except with two bolts and a strip together
