France Neon Sign Transformer
Here's a France neon sign transformer that I found at Restore today, I haven't tested this one but it seems like it's in a pretty good condition. The secondary of this thing puts out 12000v at 30mA, perfect for frying lamps lol.

Perfect for Frying Lamps....the current isn't Terribly High....Enough to fry you though. Laughing

It won't fry lamps...nope...but it will make cool effects on leaked HPS, MV and leaked MH lamps.....I had pictures of those before in LG....

the High Voltage might Finnish off a Fluorescent Tube with Bad Electrodes......i used High Voltage to Finnish off Several F40T12' with Broken Fried Electrodes...to Speed up the process i connected a Diode to it so it was DC instead of AC....Overheats one End much Quicker than the other.

I haven't fried a lamp with it yet but I was able to run a spent Philips F40 U bent that wouldn't start on a F40 RS ballast.

I have a (solid state) 5-9 kv, 30-35ma NST, popped a cheapo mercury lamp by arcing to glass bulb. The incoming actually made quite a funny effect with the plasma of the arc. Laughing
