Looks OV-50 to me.....They are common and still common today commonly found in parking lots anyway.....

i've seen OV-50's in lots of parking lots,and the Cooper OVL's are common as dirt in alabama,the birmingham area also had some Crouse-Hinds OV-50's as well.

I once saw a parking lot here with finned OV50s but they tore them out and replaced them with shoeboxes before I got a pic.

I think they used to put the caps in them because the older caps were a lot bigger.

the Fins indeed had Cap's...and if you notice the Early AEL 327,Westy OV-50 and GE M-1000's,Revere 2700's all had Fins with them being eliminated in later generations.

Some fixtures also had up to 3 maybe even 4 caps alone! I know some 400 watt fixtures had 3 caps...so it's possible the 1000 watt would have 4!

There's OV-50s with fins near me...still proudly in service on a parking lot....now they just get spot replaced if one goes bad with a new mercury....not sure about today......but as far as I see..the replacements are GE M-1000, some OVX and GE M-400R2 all mercs...maybe some may be MH...I will have to check...
