New MTO Truss Arms Hmm it looks like the MTO decided to use arms similar to the old truss design when rebuilding this overpass. The arms are similar in design to the rarer ten foot version of the MTO truss arm...I've yet to see new versions of the six foot MTO arms though. Note the Cooper OVFs too, they seem to look out of place on the old style MTO arms. :P If only they still made Powerlites... xD Oh and [url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/30651331@N03/6997148876/in/photostream]from here[/url] it seems the 35 foot poles are custom made by Valmont for the MTO. I guess the arms are a custom product too since I don't remember seeing them in any catalogues before. Keywords: American_Streetlights

Quite interesting! I wish they would install them more often, to me the 6 foot ones look better though.

Yeah me too, the truss arms have more character than the tapered e arms they use.
