Original Gumball
Here's a original gumball that's still in use in Toronto, unlike the others this one is even still incandescent. nice arm and fixture
it is a westinghouse gumball fixture i think it is cast aluminum
it is on a curved s style arm 8 foot it is old

I was a bit surprised to see it still working at night and with a incandescent too. Too bad the pic didn't turn out that good since I was in a rush...well at least it's better than nothing. I'll see if I can get a better pic later.

I'm amazed it is still incandescent! Shocked And that unless that is just one lucky lamp, they are still maintaining it too!

I was surprised to see it still working too. Shocked I guess they still maintain it, unless the lamp has been running dusk to dawn since '96.

That gumball seen a lot of changes too over the years too: from the fluorescent to LPS changeout on the Gardiner, mercury to HPS refits, LPS to HPS changeout, incandescent to MH refits, along with the traffic signal changeout. If only it could talk...
