Philips PL-S 4100K
Not a fan of "Altos," but I always liked the bridge design used in Philips PL lamps. I have this lamp in an Enertron side-mount magnetic adapter, and it is brighter than the LOA 18w quad CFL that it replaced. Best of all - this lamp has a NEON starter in the base, so it glows red at switch-on :)

Interesting that it contains a neon starter inside, I'll have to check if mine has them too. Maybe I'll harvest it when the tube goes EOL.

What i observed here (Europe), all 100V starters (S2 "4..22W"; for lamps with arc voltage <70V ) use neon rich mixture (i guess the Ne/Ar Penning mixture), all are glowing red/orange.
The blue glowing (Ar+?) ones are only those with 200V trigger (S10 "..80W"; so for higher arc voltage lamps)
And this PL-S13W has 65V arc...
