M is for Magnetic MaxLite
Before the ubiquitous spiral CFL that we all know (and perhaps do not love), there was the MaxLite spiral, from which their logo was derived. I bought one in the early 90's which I returned to Home Depot because it wasn't 4100K like their display model. Since then, I never could find another one....until now. I'm very happy to have this NOS lamp in my collection. It has an argon glowbottle in the base and a removable plastic cover over the tube, and interestingly, was made in Sri Lanka.

I have a 2700K version of this, mine is a Home Hardware store brand though.
