Very nice display of BT25 lamps, now you need to add a /W to make it complete Wink

Would you want a pic of my /W lit? I can do it so you have all 100W mercury types LOL.

Lol yea! Photo shop it in! I have 175 and 250 /W lamps but no 100! At least not yet Laughing

And you need a /R and an /X also Wink
GullWhiz   [Apr 28, 2012 at 08:17 PM]
yeah /W 100 watt seems somewhat hard to come by...I don't even have one either....only in 175 watt and 250 watt.... I have some 175 watt both NOS and used.....I have some /C 100 watt, 175, 400 watters though....

What about a /Y 100w BT 25? Did they ever make those?
Silverliner14B   [May 04, 2012 at 08:20 PM]
I recently corresponded with Joe Maurath and he said the /Y lamp was only offered in 400w, except for a 175w offered by Amplex in the 60s. So no production 100/Ys exist. The 100/X did exist but it's rarer than a hens tooth. He said he has only heard of just one in New Hampshire and none are known to be in anyones collection. Imagine if one showed on ebay, bet it will sell out cheap! NOT! In my collection, I have 100w BT-25s in all common finishes (clear, /DX, /W, /C, /N). I have an /R merc but it's 175w. It was a Westinghouse exclusive product.

Waht did /X stand for?
Silverliner14B   [May 04, 2012 at 09:02 PM]
The /X was the original Deluxe White lamp with a purple coating or glass, before the /DX lamp came out in the mid 60s.
streetlight98   [May 04, 2012 at 09:26 PM]
Purple as in similar to a Reveal lamp?

This /X lamp answers your question! Wink
