Hmm that lens is the shallow version. I wonder if maybe this could be a replacement lens? I thought the M-250A had the deep glass and the 60s M-250Rs had the shallow and the 70s M-250R2s and early M-250R2s had both? I wonder if they still make M-250A powr/modules and they're sold as an unlisted item like how Cooper sells the OV-15 and OV-25 unlisted too. The powr/door design is sort of useless if they discontinue replacement powr/modules for the fixture. Rolling Eyes they kept the M-400A design for a while with the M-400A2 and they've kept the M-250A2 powr/modules the same since the A2 rolled out but the poor M-250A. Razz

believe it or not, the power door has a nema tag that looks to be after 2003! Shocked

can you get a pic of it if you can? it's captured my interest. Very Happy i've contacted GE and they refuse to sell their NEMA tags unatached to fixtures so i don't think it could be a refurb unless the utility had the tags made by a label company.

It's possible they had tags made from a company. The ones I had made look more or less like a GE tag especially from a far.

i checked my camera roll, i found I do have a close up pic of one with a new tag but it is another one not the one above, i will post a pic a bit later.

yeah especially if it's the current font instead of the narrow font. They switched to the current font sometime in the mid 2000s. i didn't notice it until 2008 but others have seen fixtures with the new style font as early as 2005 or 2006. my guess is NGrid was still running off of their leftover stock during that two-year lapse of time. thanks dave for going to find the pic. Cool
