Yeah, that's a tough looking ignitor, it does look like a fluorescent ballast. I wonder how old it is?

I have a ignitor similar to this from the mid 1980s....its dead though....in fact the specific one I have are known to die easily! They often get whole ballast setup replaced cuz the ballast is very different from regular HPS ballast with those weird 4 wired ignitors!

Gallery of Lights

HPS saved

We replaced a pole and shoebox that was damaged and I gotted the ballast and bulb before the conversion to induction. The 150w GE ballast has an old type ignitor.
