Thermal shock, vibrations, or maybe just a small chip or crack in the glass that eventually propagated after several warm/cool cycles ?
Also curious if these are actual Philips/QL or "Chonda Clones"

"Chonda" = Chinese clone of a Honda small engine for power equipment
