Either that ballast is huge or that box and lamp are way smaller than I imagined. Shocked

Well the box is 6X6X3 and the ballast is around 3X4.

EW!!!! This is the MESSIEST wiring I have ever seen in my LIFE....not to mention the CRUDE mounting of the ballast and all the gum wrappers with gum used as electric tape, and hmmm isn't that a gull turd used as potting? EWWWW!!! Rolling Eyes Razz

How did I miss this picture? Anyways it looks pretty good IMO, Jace's opinion seems to different though. Here's a thought, you could get one of these and use it as a "slipfitter" and mount it on a little conduit pole!

Thanks Niall! I believe the box has a 1" KO so it looks like a 1" conduit would look better. Razz Anyways it's currently sitting on top my bookcase with a longer cord as a indirect light.

I've since modified the PARbox, the lamp had been replaced with a PAR 38 lamp, the holder but one that includes a shroud for the lamp. And I added in a on/off and ignitor disable switch box.
