That's the kind of etch my grandpa's lamps from HD looked like except his are F40T12 5000K lamps. They're new lamps too. I'll have to check the date code... I was surprised and very pleased to see they weren't alto lamps. Very Happy

Actually these are 5,000K hence the "C50" ...i don't have any in F40TT12 but do have an 75W F96T12, its dim but at least full wattage

Philips just came out with a new, brighter 5000K lamp called the Colortone 50 Supreme.

Hmm. This is probably the same type of lamp he has. I honestly didn't pay close attention to the etch. I was side-tracked by no green endcaps and no "Alto" marking on the lamp. Laughing
