Various Homemade Tags
Here's some various fixture tags I've made for my traffic lights and my R47. The traffic lights all originally didn't have a tag and the GE ones were modified from their streetlight design. The R47 one is an updated one using the same design as the original tag.

Sweet. Very Happy Do you have a label machine?

Thanks, I don't have a label machine though. I made these by using regular paper double sided tape and some clear plastic sheets on the top.

Ahh. I used to use shipping tape to laminate my NEMA tags, but now i use clear Con-Tact paper from walmart. I cut the con-tact paper to a 3.5"X3.5" square and place it over the NEMA tag. It laminates it and adheres it to the fixture. Smile It works great for laminating the tag, but I'm still testing it's adhesive strength.

Interesting, my lights live indoors so I don't have to worry that much about waterproofing it though.

Oh and I used this as a template for designing the CGE tags. Razz

Mine are inside for the msot part too but I'd rather have them laminated since they look more authentic. I thought those tags looked familiar. Razz Glad my GE's tag was an inspiration. Laughing

Yeah, I needed some inspiration on how GE made their tags, especially the vintage ones. Very Happy

Oh and if you're wondering where the Econolite's tag design came from...it was from one on the street.
