Wow that's really bad, yet I've seen it occasionally . Sometimes even lamps with bent pins, or the spring being the only thing holding the lamp in . Shocked

Wow, I haven't seen anything like this before, just slimlines being used in HO sockets and F32T8s with a pin sticking out.

Forgot to mention, these lamps are being held up by tape! Still doesn't reassure me that when I go looking around I won't be hit in the head with a falling lamp!

Thats pretty bad, but nothing compared to the street light I saw a month ago that had been hit and was being supported bya few bits of bent rebar, I reported it immediately and it was taken down at about 10PM on a Saturday night.

Hey Rudy just to clarify are the lamps being taped to the fixture body or being taped to the holders.

I've only seen taped up streetlight doors in my area.

That sound bad, the heat and uv could cause the tape to fail and you have falling lamps Confused

This was actually fixed a few weeks ago! Lamps removed, lampholders changed, and lamps put back in without tape!

SCARY!

Found this at the antique store here, felt unsafe standing under it...if it falls, and hit's someone, even though I TOLD them it was a danger, they will have problems...
